TIRED

Today I've been fixing shit here and there again so now I just want to go to bed and maybe watch a movie or something. Feel like my eyes won't stay open much longer.

ODD DAY

Today's been a very odd day, or at least it feels like it... I've just been running around the city like a mad person, from one place to another.

First off from work to the Old Town to leave my application to the theater academy, then to Tallinn University for some more application - related crap, then to the central library to borrow a few books for my entrance exams, then to the Opera to pay mom's ballet tickets for her, then to Ülemiste keskus for some shopping and buying groceries before heading home and making dinner ( chicken salad with feta cheese - yum! )

I got to say the library was one of the oddest places I've ever visited in my life, seriously. I just wanted to laugh since it was so bloody weird. :D Random signs saying you can't wear outdoor clothing in the library, you have to scan your card before entering the library itself etc etc. It was like walking in a spaceship, haha, so funny.

There is one thing I've noticed now that I live alone.. And that is the fact that I have no appetite when I'm alone. I get home, hungry like a hungry, hungry hippo, but once I actually get the dinner done and start eating, nah, don't feel like eating. it's scaring me a little bit.

Oh well, on to merrier topics! I went to hand in my application to Tallinn Academy of Theater today -

I should be informed in about a month when my exam time will be, I am already so nervous! Better get started on those poems and stuff..

Now I want to carry on talking with my sister on skype and then I should hit the sack so adios amigos and see you tomorrow!

VISITORS

My parents are coming to visit me in about an hour - I am so excited to see them again! Not that it's been very long but still... You don't realize how much you'll actually miss somebody until there not around daily anymore. :)

They'll also be bringing some stuff for me like my TV, a table etc so that will be fun! And I asked my mum to bring some salmiakki! <3 Miss salmiakki like crazy already. Hahah, I've been here a week.

Now I'm gonna keep on listening to Darren Criss's amazing voice and do some tidying up here, adios muchachos!

FEELS LIKE SUNDAY

I feel absolutely useless, since I haven't done anything today. Seriously, nothing! I managed to throw some clothes on and go to the store around 8 o'clock but besides that - nooothing.

But sometimes you just have to relax and eat some cinnamon buns on a Saturday evening. ( Which totally feels like a Sunday since I've already had 2 days off because of Friday. ) But if feels kind of nice to just sit at home by the fireplace and watch some How I Met Your Mother.

TO HOOV

So, there we go, I've gotten all freshened up and decided the look for today so I guess I'm going to Hoov's independence day party after all. Or then I'll just end up somewhere else, who knows. Haha.

I feel like a hipster in this dress and sweater but whatever, it's cute and warm so it will do.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Today's Estonia's independence day, it's been 94 years of freedom for this small country - congrats Estonia!

Today I came home around 5 o'clock in the morning and then had a meeting at 17 o'clock and I am tired like hell. And I'm supposed to head out tonight as well to celebrate independence day.. Ugh, I'm too old for this shit, haha.

Now I think I'm gonna heat up some dinner and then try to answer some e-mails before I start getting prepare for Hoov tonight. Don't really know if I'll actually have the effort to party off tonight but I'll give it a try.

CHANGE OF PLANS

Since a couple of people were unable to come to my place tonight we decided to postpone the housewarming 'till next week so that everybody can join. :)

So tonight I'm heading to the hostel instead - becoming a slight routine it seems like :D - and intend to have an awesome time! So see you and have a nice Thursday knowing that tomorrow you have school/work and I'm in my bed sound asleep. :D Haha, pure malice.

Anyway, now I need to carry on getting ready for tonight, byes!

MUST PUUDEL

I chilling at Must Puudelin in the Old Town right now, eating some cake and enjoying my new work computer. Altho' I think I sort of broke it  since the space button refuses to go back... ( I sort of ripped it  off to get a piece of dirt away from underneath and now I can't get it back... Woops...)

LAZY SUNDAY MORNING

I am so hungry but I have no breakfast and I'm waaay too lazy to get up from bed and actually go to the store. Gah, the problem with living alone.

Oh well. Anyway,I got home somewhere around 5 yesterday ( or today I guess ) and totally collapsed to bed, I was so exhausted. So I slept like a baby 'till like... 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Woops.

Tomorrow is my first day at work so today I'll try to just... relax and prepare for tomorrow I guess. I'm a little nervous how work is going to be. I'm going to have a long day since I need to continue straight from work to another place for a meeting. More about that tomorrow then.

Now I'll finish jamming to "Wanna Dance With Somebody" and then watch the newest episode of The Big Bang Theory.

AND I'M OUT

Yupp, out it is. It's my last "free" Saturday before I start work so I just wanna let my hair down and have an awesome time. Hoov will most likely serve that again! There's a charity party there tonight to raise money for a cafeteria to Uganda, so all the money goes to charity tonight. Thumbs up for that!

LIFE IS SWEEEEET

Let me just sum this up; my life rocks at the moment!

I can't believe how much fun I'm having. I'm having a great time with great people and my future job seems like so much fun! I am so happy right now, life is just so easy and fun!

So yesterday I headed to Tallinn Backpackers to start my Friday off, then joined the guys to a small pub crawl before I headed to Hoov and met up with some friends. I ended up sitting in the outdoor hot tub with the guys until 7 o'clock in the morning before we headed home and tried to sleep. Altho' I didn't get to rest much since we went to bed somewhere around 8 and I had to get up at 13.30 to go to my job training. But sleep is terribly overrated! Haha. Now I look like I haven't slept in day, thr bags under my eyes are quite impressive. :D

Now I want to freshen up a little, eat something and maaaaaybe go for a glass or two tonight. But just a glass or two... *whistels*

FRIIIIDAAAY

It is finally Friday which means paaaartaaaay! Haha, not that it matters so much in this city, there's a party going on somewhere each day of the week.

But tonight there's a party in an Old Town pub/club - place called Hoov, where there will be an outdoor hot tub and hopefully some awesome people! And a friend of mine is playing vinyls there as well so tonight should be fun.

Now I'm gonna pack the last things I need with me and hit the streets. Have a nice weekend everybody!

QUICK UPDATE

Just thought I'd drop by and write a quick, boring update to let you know I am in fact alive haha!

I've just been hanging out with people from the hostel etc and still trying to arrange my apartment. Which is not going that well to be honest, I can't figure out how I want it. Big problems... :D

Today I might stay at home and just try to relax. Been out drinking three days in a row now so Might be time to just chill out at home and watch a movie or something. ( I bet this plan is going to go down the drain now just because I said it out loud... Bugger.) Oh well, we'll see!

Now I'm gonna go walk around in Prisma and try to figure out what's still missing from my apartment, byes!

UNPACKING UNPACKING UNPACKING

I've been unpacking all day and yesterday, but I still have stuff in boxes and bags on the floor in my place. Gaah, how much stuff do I have??!!

I am still so bloody excited, I think I haven't really realized that i actually live here now! Tallinn FTW yo yo. I still haven't got Internet in my apartment, and won't get it either in a few days since I haven't got an Estonian ID - card which means I can't sign any contracts over here yet. But I'm working on it, untill then WiFi in cafe´s etc will have to do.

Now I'm gonna go join people playing snooker etc here in the Red Emperor hostel bar, laters folks!

PACKING ALL DAY

I'm going to be packing all day today, so I'll just wish you all a nice Saturday! :)

I'm off to KELA to get some paperwork - about the moving - sorted out, and then gonna go and work a few hours in Iso Omena's Prisma. Need the money, need the money.

Facelook of the day

SO SUNNY!

It's so sunny outside I almost get a headache, gah!  Anyway!

Today I took a quick spin to the stable with Blanca in the morning, the weather was perfect so Bloffe and I took a quick ride out in the woods. It was heavenly!

But as I said yesterday, I just got home from Tallinn where I shopped 'till I dropped - haha - and had a job interview with a really big company in Tallinn. I think I'll keep the company's name a secret until all the papers are signed etc. :) But I'll let you know as soon as everything is settled!

Before the interview I had some time to kill so I just walked around at Stockmann and wasted money - woops... No but in all seriousness, all I bought was sort of necessary so my conscience is clean.

I found a white wool jacket by Vila which I LOVE, a mattifying hairpowder by Björn Axén, handcream from Garnier and a bottle of root lifter by Cutrin from the boat on my way home.

I haven't had time to test the powder or root lifter yet, but I totally dig the hand cream by Garnier! Very quickly absorbing, makes the hands feel really soft and the smell is lovely! Thumbs up for that.

Now I want to watch the newest episode of Top Gear and just relax. Have a nice day!

NEED SLEEP...

I just came home from a quick visit to Tallinn, and I am so effin' tired that I just want to change into my PJ's and go to bed. I'll blog more tomorrow! :)

BUSY DAY - FOR ONCE

Today felt like a very productive day I must say. Haha, like I'd be able to be productive höh höh.

Anyway, went to the stable with Blanca as previously stated, and had a bloody fantastic time! The weather was perfect, the pony was acting perfectly and I was enjoying the whole ride SO insanely much!

Hard to start a week better than this...

Anyway, after the stable I got in the shower and then headed to Stockmann. And guess what? My jacket hunt finally gave some results! Found an army-green wool coat from OneWay for a ridiculous sale price - 11,95! Haha, that prize was so pathetic, I simply grabbed the thing and went to pay without a second thought! Awesome.

Anyways, tomorrow I'll head to the stable again, then work from 15 to 21 and then to Tallinn again on Wednesday. More about that later then, now I want to enjoy my glass of Riesling and watch some TV. Goodnight folks!

SMALL FAILURE - NO BIGGIE

Okay, so I might have failed the finding-a-coat - operation slightly, but that's not my fault! There are no winter coats for sale anymore, none what so friggin' ever.
I ended up getting a ride to Helsinki so I just raided Helsinki's Stockmann today, I'll give Tapiola a try tomorrow after a trip to the stable with Blanca.

Even if I couldn't find a coat, I didn't come home empty handed - can I get an amen on that?! Haha.

This ring followed with me home - I love it! Birds FTW! <3

And then some lingerie - "3 for the price of 2" - sales are always fun to find!

Now it's time for me to get ready for bed and then try to get some sleep for an "early" wake-up tomorrow. Haha, 10 o'clock is early for me. God I'm pathetic. Oh well, goodnight folks!

OUT IN THE COLD

Jesus it's cold out there... I just want to sit inside all day.

Oh well, I'm gonna grab a pair of sunglasses ( it's insanely sunny outside!) and then head to Stockmann. Most likely won't have time to go to both, so I'll just raid Tapiola Stockmann today. Maybe Helsinki tomorrow then. :)

My niece rocks my effin' socks!

She has finally figured out how to pronounce my name, so now she keeps on saying it, asking me to come and play with her or to do somersaults in my bed. So cute. <3

Now I'm going to carry on watching The Secret Diary of A Call Girl and then hit the sack, I've got a "hard" day in front of me tomorrow since I'm going to both Tapiola and Helsinki for a jacket hunt to Stockmann. DINNER AND CAKE WITH FAMILY

Today my family and I are celbrating my birthday - a few weeks late but people have been busy - so today I woke up early to start baking the cake. My sister just arrived with my niece so now I just want to hang out with them and enjoy a lovely Saturday. In a couple of hours my brother and his family are coming for dinner as well so I need to clean my dumpster of a room a little.

FASHION

I just got home from the freezing cold Helsinki, after being to a fashion show in Helsinki with Blanca. It was a show with young people's collections, and it's so much fun too see that there are still young people out there that know how to be creative and sew as well!

Now I'm sitting here, trying to regain sense to my poor, frozen toes while the complete series 2-4 of "The Secret Diary of A Callgirl" is downloading so I can sit up all night again watching it, haha!

Haha, or then not!

One more of my do-it-yourself! -experiments going on! This time it's a face mask made of crushed oat, honey and olive oil. It looks totally gross, it's sticky and messy like hell but feels worth it in my opinion! My skin is like a baby bum, and since both oat and honey are very calming and antiseptic ingredients, this mask feels really useful when considered the weather out there...! ( it's -20 degrees and windy like hell out there at the moment. F*cking freezing if you ask me!) 

So hopefully this will do the trick for my poor dried out skin that is not made for this climate. I'll offer you this picture this time, sometimes you have to know how to laugh at yourself. :D

WHY OH WHY OHIO

Why - oh bloody WHY - does applying for schools abroad have to be so God damn hard??!!  I am about to lose my mind over here and I've just tried to figure out how this shit works for less than two hours. How the hell am I ever going to understand this shit, especially when it's in a "foreign" language like Estonian? ( my reading skills in Estonian are awful, really...) Bugger shit shit crap I tell you...

Gahh, I can NOT spend another year just sitting around doing nothing. I can feel how my IQ levels are sinking each day lower and lower, seriously! All "wisdom" ever taught to me in school is just running out my ears, and soon I'm going to be so darn stupid that I won't even know how to apply for a school, not to mention study!

Okay, need to get a grip and try to figure this shit out. Perhaps visiting the school could be helpful, maybe they can help me with the admissions etc.

Now I'm gonna go and try to figure out something to eat for dinner, laters!

This morning, my grandma passed away. Simply fell asleep and never woke up again. It feels assuring to know she left without pain.

FINALLY HOME AGAIN

I've been busy all day today, but I'm finally at home.

So yesterday - around 8 o'clock in the evening - I headed to Helsinki to spend the last night at Siiri's place before her departure the next morning. We basically just hung out with her family and had an awesome night, both Siiri and the rest of her family are such great people, I never wanted to leave. Or let's put it this way - I never wanted her to leave. <3 Oh well, life had to go on and I'm looking forward to her coming back again in a few months to spend the summer in Finland.

Around 12 o'clock today I had a shoot in Kamppi, for a jewelry webshop here in Finland. It was quite an easy and chilled out shoot, and over in a few hours. After that I headed to my sister to dig through her wardrobes etc for stuff she no longer needed and gave to me Got loads of stuff, like a toaster, a pan and a pot, wine glasses, a computer table etc etc. Thanks sis! <3

Now I'm so tired that I'm gonna go and grab some ice cream and then just relax in bed. Nighters folks!
